Book launch: Shirley Arms Hotel @ 8pm – The official launch of John Scully’s new biography of Patrick Byrne, Ah! How Do You Do Sir.  Admission free.

 

Seisiún Amhrán / Singing Session: Deery’s Lounge @ 9.30pm.

 

Friday 5th April

 

Recital: St. Finbarr’s Church @ 8pm – Eilís Lavelle & Mark Redmond in concert with support by Colleen Savage with Joanne Doran, and Glór na Carraige.  Admission €10 (under 18’s free).

 

Music Session / Seisiún Ceoil: Markey’s @ 9.30pm.

 

Saturday 6th April

 

Workshops: Inver College @ 10am – Fiddle (Áine McGeeney); Banjo (Seán McElwain); Accordion (Patrick McGrane); Singing (Colleen Savage); Tin Whistle (Kerri-Anne McArdle); Set dancing (Marie Curley); Fun Trad (Seán Walsh & Sinéad Finnegan).

 

Guided walk of Carrickmacross: meet outside the Court House / Shirley Arms Hotel @ 11am.

 

Seisiún Óige: Youth session Deery’s lounge @ 5pm.

 

Concert: St. Louis Secondary School Hall @ 8pm – Goitse in concert.  Admission €15 / €10 (conc)

 

Music Session / Seisiún Ceoil: Markey’s @ 10pm.

 

Sunday 7th April

 

Workshop: St. Louis Secondary School Hall @ 12pm – Sean Nós dancing (Áoife McCabe).

 

Sets Céilí: St. Louis Secondary School Hall @ 3pm – The Swallow’s Tail céilí band. Dances called by Marie Curley and refreshments served.  Admission €12.

 

Seisiún Mall: Slow session, Deery’s lounge @ 7pm.
